Leonard Lurie, Founder/Owner

Leonard graduated in 1961 from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Accounting. In 1976, he founded Lurie & Associates, LLC after serving as chief financial officer of Walkem Development Company. Leonard is active in the Memphis real estate community and is the current president of Lambda Alpha Real Estate Fraternity. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and past president of Jewish Family Services. He has also served on the board of directors of the Jewish Foundation and is currently on the board of directors for Plough Towers, a federal housing project for the elderly and disabled.



Ann H. King, CSM, Asset Manager

Ann joined Lurie & Associates, LLC in 1997. She is a 1987 graduate of the University of Tennessee and an affiliate broker through the Tennessee Real Estate Commission with twenty years of experience in real estate management. In 1999, Ann earned the prestigious designation of Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) through the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). In addition, she was inducted into the Lambda Alpha Real Estate Fraternity in 2004. Ann serves in a supervisory position to assist the property management
staff in facilitating their duties and maintaining continuity throughout the management process, as well as, maintaining her own portfolio of properties. Ann also serves as an advisor to the property owners regarding
operating budgets and capital expenditures for all assets.



Dax Jones, Property Manager

Dax recently joined Lurie & Associates, LLC, after seven years at Signature Advertising. He is involved with all aspects of property management with special concerns in the areas of maintenance, construction and security.
In addition, Dax coordinates our internal software and computer systems and ensures that all emergency procedures are in place.



Sara Lancaster, Property Management Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

Sara has served as administrative support since 2000 for the property management department by working closely with Ann King and Dax Jones to facilitate tenant and owner relations. In addition, Sara ensures that all tenants’ needs are met in the office and in the field. She is also our customer service coordinator through whom all maintenance requests are funneled. This assures accuracy and prompt follow-up to any tenant requests. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.



Gisele Peay, Lease Administration

In 2006, Gisele began supporting the property management department by gathering and analyzing certificates of insurance and HVAC contract verification from tenants. In addition, Gisele is responsible for the collection
of gross sales reports from all applicable tenants. Her involvement in property management ensures proper enforcement of all lease requirements. Prior to joining Lurie & Associates, Gisele worked in corporate childcare and served as director of a nonprofit preschool and kindergarten. She attended Murray State University and the University of Mississippi.



Susan Boswell, Accounting Supervisor

Susan joined the Lurie & Associates, LLC staff in 2003 and comes to us with an extensive background in accounting. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration/Accounting Degree from the University of Memphis. Susan worked at Cargill, Inc., from l991 until 2003, where she rose from Assistant Accounting Manager to Senior Accountant. At Lurie & Associates, LLC, Susan supervises the accounts receivable and accounts payable positions, as well as compiling month end financial reports for distribution by the appropriate property manager.



Kathy Nugent, Accounts Payable

Kathy has been an employee of Lurie & Associates, LLC since 1990. She is in charge of all data entry involving payables and is responsible for making sure all payments are made in a timely manner. In addition, Kathy ensures that the vendor insurance requirements are current and up-to-date.



Diane Maupin, Accounts Receivable

Diane joined Lurie & Associates, LLC, in February 2009 after 8 years with Southern Stores, Inc., where she served as Lease Administrator and Property Manager. She has 15 years of experience in commercial real estate as a representative of the landlord as well as the tenant. At Lurie and Associates, this experience allows her to analyze both the tenant’s and the landlord’s financial obligations as stated in each lease and ensure these obligations are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner. Diane is also responsible for collecting gross sales statements from tenants required to report sales.



Elaine Lurie, Accounts Receivable Assistant

Elaine has served as support for accounts receivable since 2000. She assists with bank and mortgage deposits in addition to marketing co-ordinator for Chickasaw Oaks Shopping Center. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in English.
